Warsaw Bottoms Hunting Club offers daily fully-guided extraordinary waterfowl hunting on our own private land, 5 miles south of Warsaw, Illinois along the banks of the Mississippi River.
The BEST DUCK and GOOSE HUNTING is available on our two natural lakes (formed by levee breaks in 1903 and 1944) located in the Mississippi River bottoms. From our blinds you'll be looking directly at the river levee with farm land behind you. This is one of the most unique natural-made settings for great waterfowl hunting you have ever seen in an extremely secluded location away from other hunting pressure and the crowds, in the heart of the Mississippi and Des Moines River flyways.
This natural location is certainly our key to successful waterfowl hunting. We also are located between two National Wildlife Refuges, Fox Island to the north and Long Island to the south.
WBHC takes waterfowl hunting seriously! We have huge decoy spreads, dogs, and veteran waterfowl hunters as guides. We hunt 7 days a week throughout the entire season. In cold weather conditions we keep water open. For waterfowl hunting at its finest, early booking is suggested.
 Group Size:
We limit our hunting parties to 4 hunters and a guide. This provides a safer more enjoyable hunting experience.
We have only 1 blind on each lake. Individuals or 2-3 hunters may be hunting with other hunters.
Blind access:
WBHC parking area is located ¾ mile away from our lakes. Once reaching the parking area we will provide transportation right to the blinds with limited walking and easy access to our spacious, comfortable blinds.
*Duck Guarantee: All our ducks are wild. Mother Nature and your Shooting ability will play an important role in your success. We will do everything legally possible to provide you the opportunity to bag your birds.
Deer and Turkey Hunting
Warsaw Bottoms Hunting Club Inc. is a West Central Illinois outfitter offering the FINEST in DEER and TURKEY hunting
in Hancock County. Bordering the Mississippi River in west central Illinois where many trophy deer are harvested year after year. (Hancock County Permit Required) We offer high quality 100% fair chase hunting on private property, semi-guided at an affordable price. Our guides are dedicated and
experienced hunters, in both bow and gun hunting, and will provide you with the best quality and affordable hunt
possible. Both bow and shotgun hunts are available. Along with leased ground, WBHC owns property bordering the Mississippi River levee surrounded by corn, winter wheat, with clover and alfalfa strategically placed.
 Included in the whitetail deer and turkey hunting package is comfortable sportsman style lodging located 15 miles north of
WBHC at the Smokin' Gun Hunting Lodge. Meals are not included in the package, however the lodge offers
kitchen facilities for personal use. Keokuk, IA located 3 miles away has a variety of fine restaurants and fast food
chains. For a fee, pheasant, chucker, and quail hunting are available at the Smokin' Gun Hunting Club. www.smkgun.com
Hunters are responsible for their own Illinois licenses, Hancock County Permit, and personal hunting gear. Gun
hunters should plan on arriving the day prior to their hunt. Archery hunters should plan on arriving Sunday prior
to their hunt, which will begin on Monday, so as we are able to familiarize them with the hunting area, property
boundaries, and stand sites. Special weekend only and 6-7 day hunts can be arranged if requested and
available.
Hunters must hunt from a tree stand or ground blind. When hunting from a tree stand hunters are required to wear safety belts. We have pre-scouted, ready to hunt tree stands in prime locations. If you prefer to bring your on stand and set up in a different location, you must be accompanied be a WBHC guide.
We do not set minimum size requirements but do encourage hunters to pass up young bucks and harvest does for meat.
Guarantee: Remember that this is 100% fair chase hunting. No high fences. There is no guarantee of your
success. That's why it's called “Hunting”! Our guarantee is that we will give you a good honest hunt and will do
everything possible to make it a success, while concentrating on each hunters individual needs.
